Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter - 4%
A superbly balanced bitter with prominent hop character. The brew evolved over decades, satisfying the expectations of the people of Sussex and its adjoining counties. Finest Maris Otter malted barley is supplemented with a dash of Crystal malt for balance. The hops are a blend of four different local varieties, to give a distinctive hoppy finish.
Wadworth's 6x - 4.1%
For many ale drinkers, 6X is the only option, so if you’ve never tried it, don’t wait any longer. Full bodied and distinctive, it’s a strong premium ale with an ABV of 4.1% 6X is mid-brown in colour, malty and fruity on the nose with a balancing hoppy note. The delicious malt and fruit character emerge even more intensely on the palate with a long, lingering and malty finish.
Guest Ale
We have a third ale which we change quite regularly. This can be from one of our local brewers, or from further afield. Usually this is selected with the help of a few of our regulars, and is always very drinkable !!
Sharp's Offshore Pilsner - 4.8%
Brewed with Pilsner malts and Czech Lager yeast and the stunning Saaz hops. Beavertown Neck Oil - 4.3%
Neck oil is a down-to-earth beer...always refreshing and always easy to drink. The light and zingy taste of Neck Oil is the perfect place to start your craft beer journey. It has a perfect balance of hop flavours to deliver an extra special taste. The name Neck Oil comes from Beavertown's founder Logan fondly remembering his grandad stating he was off down the pub to 'oil his neck' with a pint.
Brixton Reliance Pale Ale - 4.2%
